Kirloskar Cast Iron Y Strainer

A Y-type strainer catches pipe scale, weld slag and other debris in a mesh or perforated screen before it reaches pumps, control valves, steam traps or meters. The screen is withdrawn through the cap for cleaning without removing the strainer from the line.
